Canandaigua Chamber of Commerce Announces 99th Annual Dinner

CANANDAIGUA, N.Y. - The Canandaigua Area Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce its 99^th Annual Dinner & Membership meeting has been sold out for one of its biggest crowd ever of nearly 340 attendees! The event will be on Friday, January 30, 2009 at Bristol Harbour's brand new banquet and conference facility. 

Attendees will get to see business awards in service, industry, tourism and retail, outgoing board members recognized, the thrill of the naming of the 2009 Mr./Mrs./Ms. Canandaigua and much more. With a large silent auction of approximately 50 items, raffle prizes, and great networking with key business men and women in the Canandaigua area, the event certainly draws the crowd!

For 99 years, the Chamber proves to be growing stronger than ever supporting local commerce in the greater Canandaigua area who is there to back such an important organization in our community. The Master of Ceremonies this year is Gail O'Brien, the first female MC at the Annual Dinner. O'Brien was a former president of the Chamber from 1987-1999 and the 1999 ATHENA recipient and is welcomed behind the podium. The Chamber will also announce what was accomplished in 2008 and some of the goals that will be set for 2009.
